A downloadable game
The point of the game is to find someone who can fix your new robot friend (not mentioned in the actual game, woops)
but there's some dialogue (forgive the typos, didn't proof read it that much)
there should be controller support but I didn't test it out for a long time , so am sorry if it doesn't work very well.
if you have fps drops and such then don't play in fullscreen that should help,maybe.
The things that I learned:
- Planing is an absolute must, have a strict art direction, and gamelay idea is very important ( I like changed those a multiple times during development, and it didn't turn out well)
- Learned ALOT of technical things , like enemy AI , scenes transitions, good character movement( witch made me realise how bad my approach is ) the importance of actually making templates ( instead of rewriting code especially for the different enemy types, I just copy and paste things witch made them brake later on , woops)
Encontered game breaking bugs because of my abusive use of yields in godot and transitioning through scenes, good times ( not it was pure suffering, made me nearly cry )
* start of a rant *:
Am very sorry for your ears, I just added sound effects in the last few hours and in the proccess I reallized how absolute garbage my character movement code is and how it's terribly optimised and I just couldn't add sound effects for the character movement.
Just pretend that you're a robot ninja not making a single noise when moving lol.
And it doesn't help that I had an art style crisis, just look at the cover, the title screen and the game assets. and just how much those artstyles clash with eachother I really didn't do a good job with the art direction it's all over the place.
